9. technical data

ATTENTION: The data regarding centrifugal force and vibration frequency in the tables listed have been measured with a KISTLER 3-axis dynamometer when the vibrators were mounted on a solid laboratory test block. Normally, these values are never reached in practice, as the frequency and thus the centrifugal force decreases with less rigid bases. The frequency in practice is about 60% of the specified values or must not exceed 75%. The values are therefore comparative, as some manufacturers measure or estimate in this way.

Annotation: If turbine vibrators (T or GT series) run too fast, this will lead to increased bearing wear or damage.

Example: GT-25

Frequency according to table 9.5.: 12.000 min-1 to 17.000 min-1 (2 - 6 bar)

Maximum frequency at the object (60% from top): 7,200 min-1 to 10,200 min-1 (2 - 6 bar)

9.1. working torques

For some applications or comparisons, it may be useful to know the working torque of the vibrator, since the centrifugal force can be determined using the working torque and speed. Nevertheless, it should be considered that disturbances such as a non-rigid construction, influence of moving masses and vibration interference with external vibrations and frequencies will affect the force output of the vibrator.
